Our High Velocity Bertha Accordion shutters meet Miami-Dade County Building Department Codes and have received a Product Control approval (NOA No. 07-0803.12). They are available for residential and hi-rise usage.
In our approximately 20 years of experience using many different products, we prefer High Velocity Bertha Accordion Shutters because they are very sturdy, reliable and easy sideway sliding operation. When properly maintained, they will afford you many years of trouble free service. All this is reflected in a very high customer satisfaction rating.
Accordion Shutters are installed permanently on your home so that separate storage is not required. They each have a push button lock (or handle lock if preferred). Loks can be custom installed for inside or outside operation. All locks normally are keyed alike.
Accordion Shutters are available in four standard colors: white, bronze, ivory and beige. Custom colors also available.
All of our Storm Panels cover 14.5 inches (though they are also available with 14" coverage) and can span a length of up to 10'-6" without braces. They are available in lexan, galvanized steel or aluminum alloys.
Our roll formed panels are custom cut and pre-punched for easy installation. In order to minimize storage space when not in use, panels are extruded so they are stackable.
Our storm panels can be installed using the Direct Mount method (a lead anchor and steel bolt are installed directly on the wall) or with tracking. Tracking can be made removable if required.
Roll-Up shutters can be motorized or manually operated. The roll is usually housed at the top of the shutter in a square box (the width is custom cut to the size of the opening). It rolls down a set of 2 tracks that sit on either side of the opening.
Roll-Up shutters are available in white, bronze, ivory and beige. Custom colors are also available.
Colonials Shutters can be decorative or impact resistant. Decorative colonials are located on either side of the window. Impact resistant Colonial Shutters open to the side of the window. When a storm is coming, the shutters are simply closed and secured with a latching mechanism. Available in a wide array of colors.
Bahama Shutters are similar in design to Colonial Shutters ;and are also available in decorative and impact resistant models. Bahama shutters cover a window at an angle when open. They reduce the amount of sunlight entering a room. Simply lowering and latching the shutter provides protection. Available in a wide array of colors.
